Claudio Mariotto’s Timorasso “Derthona” is the iconic white of the Colli Tortonesi: intense, deep and wonderfully food-friendly. In the glass it shines straw-yellow; the nose opens on white flowers, ripe citrus, peach and pear, with hints of aromatic herbs and a distinctive stony, mineral edge. On the palate it feels full and layered (14% ABV), yet lifted by bright acidity and a savory, salty finish that keeps the sip long and clean. A perfect choice when you want a “special occasion” white that can carry an entire meal. Contains sulfites.
